Anxiety is a very
common global health problem that affects people in different ways leading to a
variety of disorders. The most common types of anxiety are:
Generalized Anxiety Disorder:
Generalized
anxiety disorder, GAD, is an anxiety disorder characterized by chronic anxiety,
hyperactivity, and tension, even when there is little to provoke it. or nothing
at all. nothing happens. People with GAD are extremely anxious and worried
about various events and situations. They have difficulty controlling anxiety
and worry, as well as feeling anxious all the time. Such people do not care
about anything in particular and do not have any particular motivation.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder:
Obsessive-compulsive
disorder, OCD, is an anxiety disorder characterized by recurrent, unwanted
thoughts and/or repetitive behaviors. People with OCD have persistent thoughts
and fears that cause anxiety. They overcome this problem by performing certain
actions over and over again. For example, a person with a fear of germs and contamination
will frequently wash their hands and dishes at home.
Social Anxiety:
Social anxiety, is
an anxiety disorder characterized by excessive anxiety and excessive
self-consciousness in everyday social situations. People with social anxiety
disorder fear social and performance situations where they may be subject to
scrutiny by others. They have a deep fear that what they do or say will
humiliate or embarrass them. These people are unable to handle everyday
situations such as small talk or even eating in public.
Panic disorder:
Panic disorder is an anxiety disorder characterized by unexpected and recurring physical symptoms of intense fear, including chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath, and dizziness. Probably. People with panic disorder suffer from panic attacks that are uncontrollable and include a variety of physical symptoms such as dizziness, shortness of breath, and profuse sweating. These attacks occur for no apparent reason, and thereafter the person lives in constant fear of suffering another such episode.
